A man suspected of rampaging through three homes in northeastern China
and stabbing 13 people to death over a land dispute was on the run
Thursday, authorities said.
Guo Zhongmin fled after the stabbings Tuesday afternoon and is the
subject of an intensive search, said an officer at the Public Security
Bureau in Huludao, a city in Liaoning province. He identified himself
only as Mr. Gao.
The stabbing took place in Yangxiaoxiang, a village in that city.
