(The Lariat) (U-WIRE) WACO, Texas -- Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity will hold a bone marrow drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Wednesday to March 4 in the Baylor University Bill Daniel Student Center.

The fraternity decided to put on the event after it helped one of its members get bone marrow for a transplant.

"We figured that if we can help our brother, we could help everybody, " Michael Phillips, a Houston senior and Lambda Phi Epsilon member, said. "We made bone marrow transplants our philanthropy and one of our goals."

The brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon have collaborated with the Scott & White Bone Marrow Program to register students.
