(Daily Forty-Niner) (U-WIRE) LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Fast food is such a common feature in our lives that we sometimes do not realize the effect it has on us individually and socially. For instance, just in our school we have Taco Bell, Carl's Jr., Panda Express and Subway. If that is not enough, we can drive half a mile to Palo Verde and visit Del Taco, Pizza Hut and another Taco Bell and Subway.

If an extra terrestrial were to visit our country he would think that without fast food we would die, since there are fast food restaurants virtually on every street corner.

However, fast food is bad for our bodies. I hope this is not a surprise to anybody on our campus. The ...
