(Daily Bruin) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- Affirmative action supporters have been more vocal on the University of California at Los Angeles campus than the policy's opponents, but they may not be as numerous as their voices would suggest.

Policy-watchers, including professors and a UC regent, said obstacles like intimidation may be muffling the opposition's case.

An unscientific Daily Bruin poll indicated a majority of respondents oppose the policy, though visible on-campus activism suggests students overwhelmingly favor affirmative action.
