Dateline: DURBAN, South Africa Sourav Ganguly says playing the World Cup final is the pinnacle for all his cricketers, who were at school when Kapil Dev's Indian team won the title in 1983.

"None of us have the experience of playing the World Cup final, but we all know how important it is," the Indian skipper said Wednesday, the eve of the semifinal against Kenya.

India hasn't been in a World Cup final in two decades but is hot favorite to progress to Sunday's title match against Australia after winnings its last seven games.
