Federal energy regulators had some good news for California today.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ruled that Enron and five
other energy companies engaged in widespread price gouging during
California's energy crisis two years ago. California is seeking as
much as $9 billion in refunds, but the regulators have recommended
an award that's lower: $3.3 billion. From member station KQED in San
