Turk plane hijacked; deputies said aboard

ANKARA, Turkey, Mar 28, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A Turkish passenger airplane on a routine flight from Istanbul to Ankara was hijacked in the air late Friday night, Turkey's communication minister said.

The passengers include two members of Parliament from the ruling Justice and Development Party, another from the opposition party and two former ministers, the local news channel NTV reported.
