AID FOR 13 NEW YORK COUNTIES Storm Comes as Counties Are Already Experiencing
Fiscal Hardships WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Senator Clinton called on
the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to declare 13 counties
in New
York State eligible for Federal aid due to the debilitating snow and
ice
storm that hit the region this past weekend, causing major disruption
of
services and transportation systems throughout the state. In a letter
to
FEMA's Under Secretary of Emergency Preparedness and Response Michael
Brown,
