Undercover officer in Tulia case indicted
TULIA, Texas, Apr 24, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- The undercover officer whose one-man investigation led to the arrest of 46 mostly black suspects on drug charges in the small West Texas town of Tulia four years ago was indicted Thursday.
Tom Coleman was charged with three counts of aggravated perjury by a Swisher County grand jury, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. The former officer could face two to 10 years in prison on each count if he is convicted.
