Article: Saha-Union looking to revive profit growth, NATION

With its profits having fallen for four years in a row, Saha-Union Plc,
one of the most diversified companies in Thailand, is looking for new businesses
to renew its growth.
The leadership this time is from Dr Amnuay Viravan, the former finance
minister who succeeded former premier Anand Panyarachun as the Saha-Union
chairman last September.
More than 20 years ago it was Amnuay who helped set the strategy for
Saha-Union to enter export industries, businesses that still contribute
more than half the group's total revenues of about Bt18 billion today.

In turn, Saha-Union led Thailand's successful transformation to
