Iraq to dominate Security Council in May
WASHINGTON, Apr 29, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Pakistan, which assumes the presidency of the U.N. Security Council in May, said Tuesday Iraq will continue to dominate the proceedings of the body during the month.
During this period, Pakistan intends to urge the international community to give a clear road map on how it plans to resolve the security, political and economic issues confronting Iraq, its U.N. envoy, Munir Akram, told United Press International.
