NSW: Opposition attacks waiting list figures changes

The New South Wales Opposition has accused the state government of covering up hospital waiting list figures.

Opposition health spokesman BARRY O'FARRELL says changes announced by Health Minister MORRIS IEMMA confirm the fears from doctors, the community, and his party about the figures.

Mr IEMMA says hospital waiting lists will be more accurate under changes to data collection.

He says a review of data from 14 public hospitals between January and March has found five of ...
