NSW: Iemma promises more accurate waiting list figures = 2

The NSW Opposition later accused the Carr government of covering up hospital waiting list figures.

Opposition health spokesman Barry O'Farrell said the changes announced by Mr Iemma confirmed the fears of doctors, the community, and his party about the figures.

"Here we have today yet another example of a Carr government cover- up," Mr O'Farrell told reporters.
