Dateline: HAMBURG, Germany Top-ranked heavyweight contender Vitali Klitschko will fight Lennox Lewis for the WBC title at the latest in December, Klitschko's German promoter said Monday.

"After long negotiations I am delighted that this fight will take place at last in a ring," promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl said.

The fight already had been announced for April by Kohl several months ago, but never took place.
