China to Implement Occupational Injury Insurance Regulations in 2004

BEIJING, May 08, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Prime Minister Wen Jiabao promulgated Implement Occupational Injury Insurance Regulations of PRC (the Regulations) during the Labor Day holidays. The Regulations were passed during a meeting of State Council.

The Regulations have 8 chapters and 64 clauses, including general provisions, occupational injury insurance fund, occupational injury accreditation, working capability assessment, insurance treatments, supervision and management, legal obligations, and appendix.
