China Unicom's CDMA Users Exceed 10 Million

HONGKONG, May 14, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Wang Jianzhou, president of China Unicom Telecommunications Co., Ltd. (China Unicom), revealed on May 9 that the company will soon own 10 million CDMA users and that the company will shortly make an announcement about the issue. Last year, China Unicom only had 7 million CDMA users. And it has planned to increase its CDMA users to 13 million within this year. Therefore, China Unicom has fulfilled 50 of its customer development target.
