The all-Italian Champions League final between Juventus and AC Milan
is 12 days away but the two clubs are already resting their key players
for the "Big Match" in Manchester.
Coach Marcello Lippi announced Friday that La Juve _ which clinched
the Serie A title last weekend _ will be without forwards Alessandro
Del Piero and David Trezeguet in Saturday's Serie A match at Reggina.
Igor Tudor, Lilian Thuram and Alessio Tacchinardi will also be rested.
Milan was expected to keep at rest veteran defender Alessandro Costacurta
and strikers Filippo Inzaghi and Andriy Shevchenko in the home match
with Bologna.
