Franke banks on housing boom, plans factory here
Having switched from being a distributor to having its own operation in
Thailand, Franke Holding AG - the Swiss-based manufacturer of kitchen equipment
- is expecting its business here to grow 30 per cent this year thanks to
the booming residential property market.
The company is also looking to set up a factory for kitchen sinks, its
largest-selling product, as part of its five-year plan for Thai operations.
"Our distributor did a very good job of selling our kitchen sinks and
taps. However, we decided to go into the market ourselves," said Arnaud
