(The Battalion) (U-WIRE) COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- For the past 20 years, one of the primary foreign policy problems for the United States has been what to do about Iran. Iran's relationship with the United States has been poor, even to the point of brushes with the U.S. military in the 1980s, but reformers in Iran in the '90s sought to improve things. But now that the United States' long term policy problem in Iraq has receded, some in U.S. foreign policy have decided to reevaluate their stance toward Iran.
