Capt. William Clark's great-great-great grandson has agreed to come to Vancouver to help celebrate the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial in both 2005 and 2006.
Charles Francis Galt Clark, a resident of St. Louis, Mo., told Clark County bicentennial activists Thursday that he'll take part in two events here.
He agreed to help dedicate Capt. William Clark Park at Cottonwood Beach in Washougal in September 2005 and return in April 2006 to help row a boat in a re-enactment of Clark's voyage with eight men from Clark Park down the Columbia and up the Willamette River.
