Foshan Be Cautious on Environmental Protection Marketization

FOSHAN, Jun 11, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Foshan will not open up environmentalprotection industry until related market regulations are workedout. Or it will be irresponsible for both companies and thecitizens, said Yang Xiaojing, vice director of Foshan City PublicUtility Bureau.

So far public utilities have not been involved in thereconsolidation of Foshan. For example, the city has no unifiedplan for sewage disposal plants.
