Dateline: HARARE, Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe scoffed at U.S. President George W. Bush's upcoming Africa trip and urged his ruling party not to be intimidated, the state Herald newspaper reported Friday.

U.S. officials have been increasingly critical of Mugabe's authoritarian rule and have urged him to work with the opposition to pull Zimbabwe out of its economic and political crisis.
