Coming off the field, the Chicago White Sox appeared a little dazed.
None more than Paul Konerko.
Konerko hit a three-run homer in the 10th inning Saturday as the White
Sox rallied for a rare late-inning win, 7-4 over the Cleveland Indians
in the opener of a day-night doubleheader.
Konerko, mired in a season-long slump, hit his first homer with runners
on base in 2003 to give the White Sox their first win in 41 games
when trailing after the eighth.
"We'll take anything we can get to get us out of this funk," White
Sox manager Jerry Manuel said. "Sometimes it just takes one little
break."
