INVESTORS turned their attention to second- and lower-liners yesterday, and helped push the smaller Kuala Lumpur Second Board Index to a near 52- week high. The index gained 2.42 points, or 2 per cent, to end the day at 124.54 points. Analysts said investors were switching to cheaper second board stocks from the blue-chips. Mesdaq counters were also seeing some interest from investors. The Mesdaq Index rose 2.62 points, or 2.2 per cent, to end at a 12-month high of 120.68 points with 150.9 million shares done yesterday.
