KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - Delays some taxpayers face in getting their income tax refunds will soon be a thing of the past when the Inland Revenue Board fully switches to the Self-Assessment System next year.
IRB director of Corporate Services Division Ab Rahim Abdullah said today that by the beginning of 2005, the board would be able to execute auto- refunds when the system was fully integrated.
The system, he said, would help the IRB to issue a prompt refund.
