Latin singer Celia Cruz dies from cancer
FORT LEE, N.J., Jul 16, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Latin music singer Celia Cruz -- called the Queen of Latin Music -- died Wednesday at her New Jersey home from brain cancer.
Sun-sentinel.com said Cruz, 77, who started performing in Cuba in 1949, died with her husband of 42 years, Pedro Knight, at her side.
