Analysis: Outdoor concert in Colorado with three string basses and two cellos made of ice
Host: BOB EDWARDS
Time: 10:00-11:00 AM
BOB EDWARDS, host:
An unusual outdoor concert will be performed tomorrow at noon in Colorado. The audience will put on skis and boots, ride up two ski lifts and hike into a snow-covered evergreen forest to listen to the concert. The music will be typical of any small classical string ensemble, but the instruments, three basses and two cellos, will be made of ice. David Sommerstein of member station KRZA visited the performers last week during their first rehearsal.
