Reforms indirectly linked to the Air Force Academy's sex abuse scandal
mean freshmen no longer will have to endure being screamed at by upperclassmen
and endless push-ups.
Generals say the reforms are meant to bring training more in line
with the rest of the Air Force and are aren't a direct response to
the scandal, which involves claims that school leaders ignored rape
