Dateline: SALT LAKE CITY
The fisherman hikes over a rocky trail through dense stands of pines
on a sunny summer morning. Crisp alpine air at 10,000 feet (3,000
meters) stings his lungs. When he assembles his flyrod and casts a
woolly bugger _ a large, fuzzy, fish fly _ into a tiny mountain lake,
he'll catch fat brook trout on nearly every cast _ so many fish in
a couple of hours that he loses count.
