Fed: Aboriginal remains from UK museums arrive in Canberra
CANBERRA, Aug 4 AAP - Aboriginal remains from British museums were
flown to Canberra
today more than a century after they were taken from Australia.
An Aboriginal delegation was given the remains by the University
of Manchester and
Horniman Museum in London last week.
But the Museum of Natural History in London controversially denied
the four-member
delegation access to its collection of remains.
"The people who run the place have no sympathy for the Aboriginal
people of Australia,"
