Tuesday, August 19, 2003 -- Africa Israel said Monday it has completed the purchase of a $100 million building across the street from the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street. It is the company's largest real estate deal in the United States.

Africa Israel, which is controlled by diamond mogul Lev Leviev, executed the deal, which was first announced about three months ago, through its subsidiary, Africa Israel Properties and Development (USA).
