The Spurs playing their first playoff game in the NBA finals was not enticing enough to keep a cluster of comedians, friends and guests from celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Rivercenter Comedy Club.

"Don't feel guilty for missing the Spurs game, you're still Spurs fans," said Sonny Melendrez at the celebration June 4. Co-owners Colleen and Bruce Barshop hosted the special celebration with stand up comedians, horsd' oeuvres, and cocktails.

"It's amazing what has taken place on this stage over the last 10 years," said Melendrez.
