There were major improvements in racial diversity and inclusion of African Americans in the workforce in the Indianapolis area. That's the conclusion of an analysis of the final release of 2000 Census data conducted by The Indianapolis Recorder.

The final 2000 Census data was released Wednesday and it contained detailed information on the progress, or lack of it, of racial diversity in the Indianapolis workforce.
