Dateline: PHNOM PENH, Cambodia Cambodia has permanently banned a convicted British child pornographer from the country after he finished a three-year jail sentence, police said Wednesday.

Briton John Keeler, 59, was released from a provincial prison near Phnom Penh and deported late Tuesday, said Chhan Vutha, an immigration chief at the airport in the Cambodian capital.

"His (Keeler's) passport was stamped with a mark 'banned from entering the country again,'" Chhan Vutha said.

Keeler, a former English teacher from Manchester, was arrested three years ago after he was caught videotaping young girls posed indecently in a public park.
