FOR those who have not tasted Japanese pizza, head for Keyaki Japanese
restaurant at the Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur this month.
The Japanese version of pizza is called okonomiyaki and it comes
from Osaka. It is available throughout the year in Japan but is most
popularly eaten during the bon odori, which is a summer dance festival
in Japan.
Keyaki restaurant head chef Tomoaki Ito said: "This pizza is unique
because unlike conventional ones which are oven-baked, the okonomiyaki
is made on the teppanyaki counter.
