The newly elected Sheriff of Bergen County, New Jersey appointed Stephen
Bojekian as the Chief of the Bergen County Sheriff's Department, the
largest law enforcement agency in Bergen County with over 450 members.
Bojekian grew up in Fort Lee, New Jersey and now resides in Franklin Lakes
with his wife Maria and children Ninamarie and Michael.

Bojekian's first assignment in the department began 24 years ago as a
Correction's Officer in the Bergen County Jail. Early on, he earned his
Sheriff's Officer status by moving up through the ranks. He served in many
