Funeral services for the late Razmik Hakimian were held at St. Gregory the
Illuminator Armenian Church in Outremont, with Archbishop Hovnan Derderian,
Primate of the Diocese of Canada, presiding.

Mr. Hakimian, a prominent member of the Armenian community of Canada, died
June 14 in a bizarre accident. He was electrocuted to death while fixing a
printing press in his printing operation. He was 47 when tragedy struck
him.

His death triggered a state of disbelief in the community as it came as a
real shock.

Hakimian was a devoted member of the community who volunteered hundreds of
