THE ShaTTeReD CEILING: Q&A with Scott Amyx, of L'Amyx Tea Bar
L'Amyx Tea Bar opened in Oakland's Piedmont district in December 2000. The
shop offers a variety of exotic teas and specialty drinks, and customers
can also enjoy traditional tea ceremonies from around the world, conducted
by L'Amyx's trained staff.
L'Amyx is owned and operated by president Scott Amyx, his wife Cinda Amyx,
who serves as vice president of marketing, and sister-in-law Marcia Lam,
who is vice president of product development.
