The Walker Art Center, Northrop Auditorium, and the Guthrie Theater present
the only Midwest performances of German composer producer Heiner Goebbels'
breathtakingly beautiful theatrical riddle, Hashirigaki, at 8 pm
Thursday-Friday, October 3-4, at Ted Mann Concert Hall, 2128 Fourth Street
South, Minneapolis, U of M West Bank Campus. This special event is part of
the Walker and Northrop's 15th anniversary season of Discover.
Named "Musical of the Year, 2001" by The Guardian, Hashirigaki is inspired
by two monuments of 20th century American culture: writer philosopher
Gertrude Stein's prose experiment The Making of Americans, and composer
