Asian American diplomat at the U.S. State Department, Patrick Mendis,
recently visited his native country to interview Sir Arthur C. Clarke, the
visionary science-fiction writer who lives in Sri Lanka.
As part of the year long "Roundtable on Science and Technology for National
Security" at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) of the Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory in California, Ambassador Ronald Lehman
joined Dr. Mendis in Colombo for the interview to produce videotape.
