Inside Atlanta: Christian Fellowship Baptist Burns Mortgage; Hallelujah!
You could hear the rejoicing a block in either direction of College Park's
Christian Fellowship Baptist Church last Sunday, and for good reason.
The church that is barely 10 years old burned its $2 million-plus dollar
mortgage, and in only 7 years!
"To God be all the glory," said the church's founding pastor, Dr. Emmanuel
McCall.
The tears were in abundance that Sunday morn and, especially, from the
church's 219 original members. Burning that paper was a reminder of the
challenging road they began traveling 10 years ago this year.
