Project Open Hand/Atlanta Expands Services

Project Open Hand has expanded its mission to offer services to the
critically ill and homebound seniors, in addition to clients living with
HIV/AIDS.

For the past twelve years, Project Open Hand has delivered two freshly
cooked meals a day-for free-to an average of 600 men, women and children
living with HIV/AIDS in the Atlanta area. October kicks off a six-month
pilot program in which the non-profit organization will reach out to
additional groups of people in need-the critically ill under age 60 and
homebound senior citizens-while continuing to feed their clients living
with HIV/AIDS.
