A new medical center in Southwest Atlanta now provides one-stop medical
treatment to residents undergoing dialysis treatment.
The Southwest Atlanta Nephrology Center, which recently opened at 3620
Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, sits on a 4-acre campus in conjunction with
two Davita-owned dialysis centers, Southwest Atlanta Dialysis and Baker's
Ferry Dialysis. Together, the three facilities occupy a total of 24,000
square feet.
Five physicians, one physical assistant and one nurse practitioner are
employed at the Nephrology Center. A total of 40 people are employed on the
entire campus. Additional staff will be hired as the need increases.
