Domestic Violence: A People Issue

Battered wives. Battered husbands. Battered children. The toll of domestic
violence is staggering.

Domestic Violence is not a women's issue, but a people issue. The most
recent National Violence Against Women survey estimates that each year 1.5
million women and 835,000 men will be victims of domestic violence.

Here are some facts and myths about domestic violence.
