Battered wives. Battered husbands. Battered children. The toll of domestic
violence is staggering.

Domestic Violence is not a women's issue, but a people issue. The most
recent National Violence Against Women survey estimates that each year 1.5
million women and 835,000 men will be victims of domestic violence.
