Streit's matzo is generational business

With the calendar racing toward Passover, the Streit's matzo factory on New
York's legendary Lower East Side is alive with activity. Trucks pull up
before the Rivington Street store front loading distributor-size packages
of matzo for shipping throughout the world.

Bakers punch in for the shifts that keep the aged factory humming through
16-hour days and various grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the
company's founder, Aron Streit, weave through conveyer-belt baskets of
freshly baked matzo stacks soaring between the first and third floors on
their way from oven to box.
