IMMIGRATION CORNER: U.S. citizens' petition dates move forward

THE priority dates for all categories of petitions by United States
citizens (F1, F-3 and F-4) moved forward by at least 14 days as listed in
the monthly Visa Bulletin for November 2001 released by the State
Department.

The priority date for the First Preference Category, F-1 (unmarried sons
and daughters of U.S. citizens, over 21 years of age) moved forward by 17
days, from May 22, 1988 to June 8, 1988.

The Third Preference Category, F-3 (married sons and daughters of U.S.
citizens) moved forward by 24 days, from Dec. 8, 1987 to Jan. 1, 1988.
