In a dramatic tactical shift, the Christian missionary group Jews for Jesus
has masked its proselytizing efforts behind the one event considered
out-of-bounds by even the most aggressive of evangelists: the Holocaust.

An ad seen in national magazines including Time and Newsweek features an
avowed "Holocaust survivor" and an offer for readers to call a toll-free
number to receive a free video and brochure of survivor stories.

"Some say you can't be Jewish and believe in Jesus," states the "survivor"
in the ad. "I disagree. But before you should dismiss my belief, you should
