RAMAT GAN -- An amateur deep-sea diver from Great Britain is mounting an
international expedition in the Black Sea next month to salvage the remains
of the Struma, a Jewish refugee ship that was sunk en route to Palestine in
1942, killing 768 Jews on board, including the expedition organizer's
grandparents.
The organizer is Greg Buxton, a computer analyst by trade, who helped find
and document the Titanic's sister ship, Brittania, sunk on its way to the
Gallipoli campaign in 1916. He has set his sights now on the Struma, which
