Chirinjeev Kathuria now has eyes set on 'Mir 2'

Many space buffs may be following Mir spacecraft's eventual descent on
Earth this month. But few, perhaps, will be as saddened by it as Chirinjeev
Kathuria, who had invested much of his money into the dilapidated Russian
spacecraft.

"I'm still having a hard time believing that Mir is coming down," Kathuria
told India Abroad. "It breaks my heart."

Russia decided last December that it was financially unfeasible to keep Mir
in orbit, while trying to maintain its commitments to the International
Space Station (ISS). Kathuria and Walt Anderson had founded MirCorp Ltd.,
