'India, China need their own Intels, Microsofts'
So how attractive do global investors find India and China, whose economies
are in the process of opening up?
A panel discussion, 'Whither India and China: The Financial Investor's
Perspective', held at the Asia Society in New York on December 4 compared
and briefly examined the two countries' economic progress, their policies
and related issues.
"No matter what business you are in, you have to look at India and China
because between the two lies 40 percent of the planet," said Joydeep
Mukherji, director, Sovereign Ratings, Standard & Poor's, who was one of
